FCC commissioner frets over call-center readiness:

FCC Commissioner Robert McDowell is concerned about the FCC's ability to handle an expected deluge of calls from Americans regarding the DTV transition. McDowell, in a letter to current FCC Chairman Kevin Martin, did not endorse moving the transition date, but said the commission must be "better organized" and "more energetic" if it hopes to cope with what he described as a "daunting" task.
