GDP revision makes China world's third-biggest economy

China's National Bureau of Statistics revised the nation's growth rate for 2007 from its original 11.9% to 13%, effectively making China the world's third-largest economy. Analysts said the spectacular growth in 2007 may have boosted inventories far beyond demand and contributed to weaker growth toward the end of 2008.
