Indie shop Venables Bell to craft brand image for Intel

Independent Venables Bell & Partners, San Francisco, has been hired by Intel for lead global creative duties, as part of an "open-source" model in which the chip maker will no longer have an agency of record and will work with a variety of shops. Venables, which takes over the account from Interpublic Group's McCann Erickson Worldwide, will focus on developing Intel's overall brand image.
