Study highlights broadband's economic benefits

Improving broadband access will stimulate local economies, according to a new study from the Public Policy Institute. The California-based think tank estimates the employment growth in areas with broadband compared with areas without it is 6.4% higher. The study says broadband has the potential to offer other benefits, as well.
