Banks learn how to guard against new wave of cyberattacks

The second wave of denial-of-service attacks launched recently against American banks appears to have had less of an impact as financial institutions have become more adept at setting up protections, experts say. For example, log-in and search applications are popular entryways for attacks, so banks have beefed up that security, they say.
