Samsung introduces memory to cut power usage in data centers

Samsung Electronics has introduced 64-gigabyte load-reduced dual-inline memory modules that can help reduce the amount of power needed to run data centers. "Data centers today worldwide consume some 30 billion watts," Samsung's Sylvie Kadivar said.
