Machines speeding airport security process, within limits

Machines that can read bar codes and human irises are being put to use around the world at airports, processing passengers and their luggage more quickly and efficiently than their human counterparts can manage. Experts believe machines have their place in tightening and speeding security processes, although they can't yet replace human judgment as applied to behavioral traits that can signal a threat.
