Polls cite disconnect between CIOs, IT workers on job satisfaction

Tech chiefs say they detect little dissatisfaction among their staffs, while more than two-thirds of IT workers say they would consider jumping ship in the next 12 months, according to two polls by Robert Half Technology. As a group, IT workers listed three reasons for seeking greener pastures: a lack of advancement potential in their companies, a desire for new challenges and inadequate pay.
