Don't blackmail Delta, newspaper urges regulators:

Minnesota's largest newspaper is urging the Metropolitan Airports Commission not to endanger a "Delta North" regional headquarters by seeking to gain additional concessions from Delta Air Lines. The Minneapolis Star Tribune points out in an editorial that Delta could simply repay bonds inherited from Northwest Airlines, then downsize dramatically in the Twin Cities. With a guarantee of 10,000 jobs, 400 daily flights and a flight training center, Minnesota has negotiated a solid deal, according to the editors.
