Report: Display ad prices down 53% in Q4

Internet display ad prices dropped by roughly 53% in Q4, compared to the same period in 2007, according to the Pubmatic AdPrice Index. The business and finance segment posted the biggest decline -- 61% -- but all categories experienced sharp sales losses, the report found. The news on quarter-to-quarter numbers was better: Overall CPMs declined one cent from Q3 to Q4, per Pubmatic.
