Viewpoint: Should students use cell phones in class?

Teachers should consider lifting the ban on cell-phone use in many of the country's schools, and instead allow students to use the phones for classroom assignments, this article suggests. In many cases, cell phones can replace laptop computers since many students can access the Internet via their cell phones from home or school.
