Analysts: 737 production cut likely

Some analysts believe Boeing Co. will announce a production cut in its best-selling 737 model when quarterly results are released on Jan. 27. "It might be happening sooner than later," Teal Group analyst Richard Aboulafia said of the announcement, noting that supplier contracts generally require a nine-month notice of any production cut. Aboulafia said he also is looking for a similar announcement regarding the Airbus A320.
