Executives share ideas to make the government more efficient

Executives from more than 50 firms, including Deere & Co.'s Samuel Allen, were invited to a forum in Washington by President Barack Obama to help develop ways to use technology that could help the government operate more smoothly and save money. The Obama administration is trying to find ways to conserve costs as this year's federal deficit is expected to reach $1.4 trillion.
