NBCTs: Support from mentors, each other led to certification

Two new National Board Certified Teachers in Maryland say it was the support from each other and mentors that helped them earn certification on their third attempts. "She would give me her really serious feedback, and she would not mince words," one NBCT said of her mentor. "I realized the value of a teacher as an editor. And that's the biggest thing I took away from the National Board."
