Nevada prepares for construction of DesertXpress train

Nevada is gearing up for construction of the high-speed DesertXpress train that will link the state with Southern California. Construction is slated to begin in the first or second quarter. Meanwhile, Wisconsin is holding out for an $817.7 million federal-stimulus grant to build its proposed high-speed corridor.
