Euromonitor: Japan snack market has room for growth

Japan's snack market is ultra-developed but it has plenty of room for growth, making it a research and development dream, according to Euromonitor. Manufacturers need to work to stand out in Japan's snack market, and many are willing to experiment with new flavors, like Pepsi-Co's recent launch of Mountain Dew flavored Cheetos. However, Euromonitor data indicates true growth will come in developing the healthy snacks segment and not so much the new flavor arena.
