Global IPO boom is likely to continue

Initial public offerings have made a comeback, and based on the way the pipeline is filling up worldwide, the trend is unlikely to falter anytime soon, according to The Economist. "The single biggest offering is expected to be that of Alibaba [Group Holding], a Chinese online giant, which could be worth more than $150 billion," the magazine notes. "It is not clear whether the listing will be done in Hong Kong or New York."
