opens production kitchen, CEO has high hopes

01/15/2014 | FoodNavigator, a snacking subscription service based in the U.K., has invested nearly $5 million in its U.S. expansion, which has included building a production kitchen and offices and developing a logistics system to determine the quickest delivery routes. "We've invested nearly $5 million in the States, and we want a return on that. We're thinking very, very big," said CEO Anthony Fletcher. "This is a market we only think will evolve." The company launched in the U.S. with 55,000 subscribers and has seen increases of 1,000 subscribers per day.
