Home values aren't affected by wind turbines, research shows

A new study suggests that a house's proximity to wind turbines does not appear to have a statistically significant impact on its value. "If turbines were really blighting these areas, you wouldn't be able to give property away," said Carol Atkinson-Palombo, an assistant professor of geography at the University of Connecticut. Researchers tracked 122,000 home sales in urban and suburban areas.
