Investors should take steps to curb climate change, U.N. official says

A shift toward investments in clean energy is needed among institutional investment funds in order to help curtail climate change, said Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change. "Climate change increasingly poses one of the biggest long-term threats to those investments and the wealth of the global economy," Figueres said.
