Israel becomes 21st member state of CERN

Israel has been inducted into the Geneva-based physics research lab CERN. Israel is the 21st member nation to join the collaborative CERN and the first new member since 1999. Israel is already involved in a number of CERN projects, having previously been an associate member state.
