Nestle Purina completes Zuke's acquisition

Nestle, which makes Alpo and Beneful dog food, recently completed the purchase of Zuke's, a natural pet snacks marketer. Nestle's pet care brands accounted for 12% of its business last year, or $11.9 billion, and the company is looking to expand in the natural pet food market with the Zuke's acquisition. Zuke's product line includes Hip Action and Skinny Bakes.
