Students build, test drive mini solar cars

Representatives from the Siemens Corp. and the FUSE program developed by Northwestern University recently visited students at a partner high school in Illinois. During the visit, students showcased solar cars that they had designed and built as part of the Solar Roller Challenge, a component of the FUSE program. All junior-high schools and several high schools in the district offer the FUSE program.
