Yancey's Fancy plant moves ahead after variances receive approval

The Genesee County, N.Y., Planning Board approved two zoning variance requests last week from Yancey's Fancy, which is investing $18.2 million in a new 112,000-square-foot cheese-making plant in Pembroke, N.Y. Final approval of the variances and the company's site plan is now up to Pembroke officials.
