NASA opens new office to develop White House space plan

NASA opened a new office to follow up on President Bush's space initiative. The Office of Exploration Systems, headed by retired Navy Rear Adm. Craig Steidle, will be supported by shifting funding from the orbital space plane project, Jupiter's Project Prometheus and the development of next-generation launch spacecraft.
