Americans voice concerns about online privacy

Adult U.S. consumers last year were more concerned than they were in 2006 about the security of online shopping, due to rampant identity theft, credit card fraud and phishing, according to a survey by the University of Southern California's Center for the Digital Future. Nevertheless, the number of adults shopping online has increased since 2006.
