GMA report: Most grocery manufacturers promote better nutrition

Ninety-eight percent of the grocery manufacturers that GMA surveyed said they are modifying and expanding offerings to include more products that promote better health and nutrition. The survey found that manufacturers have cut or eliminated saturated fat, trans fat, calories, sugar, carbohydrates and sodium in products and sizes, and the majority offer wellness programs within their companies.
