Researchers question efficacy of antidepressants

Researchers are questioning the efficacy of 12 popular antidepressants -- including Eli Lilly and Co.'s Prozac, Wyeth's Effexor and Pfizer's Zoloft -- after showing that drugmakers tend to publish positive trials over studies with disappointing results. This practice gives patients and providers less accurate data on the drugs' efficiency and could lead to inappropriate prescriptions, the researchers said.
