ASDA uses location-based ad technology to reach consumers

Supermarket chain ASDA has become the first retailer in the UK to capitalise on location-based advertising technology to help shoppers find the retailer's nearest store. "As an advertising platform, Direct Access is both effective and cost-efficient," said Roy Clark, change programme manager at ASDA. "It helps us increase our reach to millions of consumers, right at the moment they are ready to make a purchase."
