GMA, FMI pledge to work more closely together

GMA and the Food Marketing Institute inked a collaboration agreement, stating the two groups would work together more on improving supply-chain efficiency and customer service, and collaborate on public policy, scientific and regulatory-affairs activity. The agreement also will create The Trading Partner Alliance, a joint leadership group. "Collaboration is the key to success when it comes to confronting the challenges and opportunities facing our industry, and GMA has no more important ally than FMI," GMA President and CEO Pamela Bailey said.
