The new arbiters of the TV-Web confluence

As the line between television and the Internet grows increasingly blurred, TV makers such as Sony, Samsung and LG are becoming important arbiters of what is and what is not worthy of the Web-TV confluence. At the recently concluded 2009 International CES, a number of set manufacturers laid out their plans to incorporate sites such as YouTube, Flickr and Crackle.
