Exotic-pet sellers say more thorough care guidelines may be needed

Retailers of exotic pets say that while most animal sellers operate ethically, there may be a need for more explicit guidelines on caring for animals, following a seizure of more than 27,000 amphibians, mammals and reptiles at Arlington, Texas-based U.S. Global Exotics in December.
