Column: Hotel reviews should have complete transparency

Hotels wishing to take the leap of posting guest reviews on their website should avoid imposing too much control on the reviews in order to ensure total transparency, hotel consultant Daniel Edward Craig writes. "Travelers don't expect perfection, but they do expect transparency and authenticity. The days of glossy brochures with fairytale descriptions and ecstatic supermodels are behind us," he writes.
