Lawsuit faults inaccessibility of technology at Redbox kiosks

A disability-advocacy group and five individuals with disabilities filed a lawsuit Jan. 12, claiming that Redbox DVD-rental kiosks are not accessible to individuals with visual impairments and are in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The kiosks rely on sight-based touch-screen technology, and do not offer voice-based options such as those available at ATMs or on an iPhone.
