People with Crohn's disease can help control symptoms through diet, but there aren't any rules or food supplements that cure the autoimmune disease, according to clinical dietitian Lisa Cimperman at University Hospital in Cincinnati. She said she warns against using any single cookbook or diet for Crohn's disease, but suggests instead keeping a food diary, considering dietary supplements to meet the specific needs of Crohn's patients and having a support system.
