Survey: Tech "mashups" can help drive retail sales

Use of mobile applications, in-store kiosks and digital content at the point of sale or on store shelves can strongly influence buying decisions in bricks-and-mortar retail outlets, according to a survey conducted by Cisco Systems. These technology "mashups" can help create sales: More than half of survey respondents said they would use in-store kiosks for self-service, and nearly one-third said they had been influenced by online videos to purchase products or services.
