White House is firm on adding $100 air traffic fee

The Obama administration is insisting on a $100 fee per flight to cover air traffic services, and AOPA is opposing the proposal. "We are disappointed but not surprised that the administration continues to seek a $100 user fee on general aviation flights," AOPA President Craig Fuller said. He also said, "The last thing we need right now is to create an expensive new bureaucracy to fix what isn't broken."
