Alibaba CEO calls it quits

Jack Ma, the 48-year-old CEO of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba, is to step down in May, saying that it's time for a younger generation to lead the company forward. Ma, who describes himself as "ET-like" in his resignation letter, says finding a suitable successor won't be an easy task. "Taking over from a CEO with such a distinct personality ... requires great courage and the willingness to make sacrifices,” he asserts.
