Atlantic City to ramp up efforts on attracting more visitors

Atlantic City's tourism and development authorities plan to increase publicity efforts to show that the city is still open for business despite superstorm Sandy and to attract more visitors to the city. The New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority also said it looks to put additional funding into the city's Tourism District. "We believe things are happening that we can take advantage of for a new day in Atlantic City," said John Palmieri, executive director of the CRDA.
