The past five years have seen the production of some instantly iconic works of art, writes Hana Cohn. Among the best: "Tornado," a film in which an artist ran repeatedly into the middle of dust storms; "This Progress,", in which visitors to New York's Guggenheim museum were accosted by guides of various ages; and "Bankrupt Banks," a series of lovingly painted banners depicting the logos of failed financial institutions.
