Retailer BevMo! showed off a mobile coupon system at the National Retail Federation's annual conference this week, and will start testing the system at one of its 130 stores in the next month. Customers receive manufacturer coupons to their smartphones and redeem them at the register by scanning a QR code. "The CPGs love it -- they get their data faster. And it meets consumer needs and helps us move product," said executive Bob Graham.
