Final meeting of Part 23 committee is completed

The Federal Aviation Administration's Part 23 Aviation Rule Making Committee, which was formed in 2011, met last week at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla. The group of more than 65 regulators and industry team members from around the world worked to finalize its recommendations for updating the certification standards for aircraft under 19,000 pounds.
