FMI hires director for food safety

FMI has named Josh Katz as director of food-safety programs, charged with developing and implementing critical initiatives for the retail industry. "Food safety is of utmost importance to our members, and Josh's farm-to-fork experience will become a valuable asset to our retailers," said Hilary Thesmar, vice president of food-safety programs.
