Kempinski looks to double global footprint in 2 years

Kempinski Hotels has unveiled plans to double the size of its holding around the world by 2015. The luxury-hotel firm has nine hotels in its pipeline and a specific growth focus on the European market, Duncan O'Rourke, Kempinski's chief operating officer, wrote in an e-mail. "Overall, the European region is performing well and in line with its targets," O'Rourke said. "Kempinski remains optimistic for 2013."
