Verizon Wireless has so far found relatively few takers for the 700 MHz A- and B-block frequencies it has put on the block, mainly smaller rural-based carriers that are eyeing fixed wireless services as an upgrade over DSL. The lack of a solution to the industry's 700 MHz interoperability issue has likely held up some deals, according to one report, which details other possible factors and suggests there could be movement on the matter in 2013.
