The European Space Agency and NASA are working together to take the Orion space capsule to go around the moon on an unmanned mission in 2017 and a manned mission in 2021. The ESA will provide a service hardware for the Orion capsule as part of an agreement with NASA. The European parts, which include propulsion and power modules, will be part of Orion's 2017 mission. Officials estimate the European parts to be worth about $600 million.
