Researchers discover potential pill for safe gluten consumption

Researchers studying antidotes to anthrax have discovered an enzyme that breaks down peptides in the stomach so people with celiac disease may be able to consume foods containing gluten. The research team hopes to develop a pill form, but it must undergo clinical trials and safety testing before it can be marketed.
