Using GIS to draw businesses to a Canadian region

A new website has been unveiled that uses GIS technology in a bid to attract commercial investment to the Calgary, Alberta, region. Users of the website can look at available properties and learn about demographic information. "When anyone is considering the Calgary region as a potential spot to expand or relocate a business, the first thing they need is information," said Alan Tennant of the Calgary Real Estate Board.
