$1.1T spending bill heads to the Senate

The Senate is scheduled to promptly take up a $1.1 trillion bipartisan spending bill that would allow the U.S. government to operate through Sept. 30, after the House of Representatives voted 359-67 to pass the measure. The Obama administration supports the legislation.
