Ala. city to safeguard restaurant's landmark neon sign

Anniston, Ala., has stepped in at the last minute to rescue a neon sign from the wrecking ball. The sign depicting a football player kicking a field goal, installed by S.A. Pruett when he opened the Goal Post Bar-B-Q restaurant in 1960, will be held in storage until city officials can find someone willing and able to restore it.
